GOOD FRIDAY

With no therapies today, we didn't do much of anything. For lunch, the techs made tacos with homemade salsa, guacamole, and queso. Then homemade ice cream and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. It was delicious. About the time we were wrapping up lunch, Aunt Chyral, Granny B and Darrell stopped by. Darrell was carrying a cooler and he said, "look what I brought you Rick!" And boy did Rick's eyes light up...unfortunately there wasn't any Bud Light in the cooler, but there were homemade devilled eggs and Grocery Sack burritos! Can you believe it? We were all excited about that. I don't know how Rick could hold another ounce, but he ate a couple of eggs and then had some muffins that Chyral made. We had a really great visit, and then of course Rick was in need of a nap. After his nap we visited some more and then they had to head back to Vernon. The ABC Pro Rodeo is in town and we're hoping to go to the afternoon performance tomorrow. Uncle Bobby did not get a good report today and will have to have open heart surgery on Monday to have 4-5 bypasses. He will be in the hospital until the surgery because the doctor felt it was too great a risk to let him go. Please keep the Cochran family in you prayers...Uncle Bobby is a good man.

It was now about the sixth hour (midday), and the darkness enveloped the whole land and earth until the ninth hour (about three o'clock in the afternoon). While the sun's light faded and the curtain of the temple was torn in two. And JesusG, crying out with a loud voice, said, Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit! And with these words, He expired. Luke 23:44-46.

God Bless.

Love,
Crystal
