DAY 289

Rick caught another mild case of the stomach bug and was in bed all day today. It started at 2:45 am with vomitting and diarrhea. It stopped at 8 am and he has held down lots of pedialyte, water and 2 pieces of toast and napped most of the day. He is feeling much better tonight. He was so funny this morning. He told me to "find some medicine and take it before you get this virus." I said, "Don't worry about me Rick." And he said, "I am worried about you."

We found out today that Rick has a special outing planned for Friday. While the other patients are playing softball, Rick is going to a ranch that has therapy horses...really looking forward to that.

Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God's love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. Romans 5:5

Love,
Crystal

  3. I hope the horse therapy goes well. I had a college professor at MSU who has therapy horses in Henrietta. His stories were amazing!
    God Bless you both!
