DAY 307 & 308

We had a super busy Saturday, and our first date since the accident. TLC took the patients to the Ranching Heritage Center yesterday afternoon. They were having their annual pioneer days, and it was really fun. Rick of course wanted to look at and read all the history of EVERYTHING, but we just didn't have time. Then we were invited to a dinner at the Fraiser Alumni Center on the Tech campus. It was hosted by Hub City Access, an organization founded to make Lubbock more accessible to handicap, or handicapable, people. Dr. Wolcott was recognized for his contributions. He is such a good man and a good doctor...you don't always find that combo. He is also pretty talented...after the dinner and awards, he and his band played. We enjoyed it, but Rick was so tired. This morning he slept in, and at 11 o'clock I had to wake him up. We had a very pleasant surprise this afternoon. A visit from the Eddleman family...Barry Ray, Cindy and Brayden. We haven't seen Barry in a while, and Rick always calls him Barry Ray, and today when he walked in Rick looked at him and said, "Barry Ray", just like old times. We had a great visit and Rick stood to shake Barry's hand when he left, and reassured Barry that he is gonna get better and get outta there!

I brought the kids to Seymour and will head back to Lubbock tomorrow.

Good night and God Bless!
Crystal
