HE HAS RISEN! HE HAS RISEN, INDEED!
We went to church this morning at Wolforth again. Curtis had a great message and again the members of that church were so welcoming. Rick choked a little bit this morning while taking his meds, and it scared the Techs. Luckily, Kim, the nurse at TLC, was at church with her stethascope (how handy) and she listened to Rick's lungs and everything sounded fine. When we got back to TLC my mom and dad were here with a huge lunch prepared. For dessert...buttermilk pie...Rick's request. We took a few pictures and then Rick laid down for a nap. The kids left with my mom and dad and about an hour and a half after they left I got a phone call...Riley left her clarinet here. So, I will be making a trip to Seymour tomorrow to deliver it.
Hope everyone had a great Easter.
But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, the women went to the tomb, taking the spices which they had made ready. And they found the stone rolled back from the tomb, But when they went inside, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And while they were perplexed and wondering what to do about this, behold, two men in dazzling raiment suddenly stood beside them. And as the women were frightened and were bowing thier faces to the ground, the men said to them, Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen! Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee. That the Son of Man must be given over into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise. Luke 24:1-7.
