We had such a good day filled with visitors. Tracy Crain, Kim Poole, Kim, Phillip & Kelsey, & my aunts Margaret & Phyllis all visited today. Rick took a good nap and is resting again right now, but it was so good to see everybody!
I'm getting my car detailed right now...can you believe that? One of the patients here is 21 and he details cars. His mom bought him all the stuff to detail with and said to keep him busy so my car is up first. I've had that car for 5 years, and it's never been detailed!
Lots of packing and washing to do to get ready to head to Lubbock, but I'm so ready. I'm also really tired...this air mattress is getting old!
So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and in his good time he will honor you. Give all you worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you. 1 Peter 5:6-7
Good night!

Crystal,
ReplyDeleteGreat news about moving to Lubbock. One step closer to home. We travel from Childress to Lubbock quite often. Looking forward to seeing ya'll there. In fact, the girls & I may be there next weekend.
My mom was at Trustpoint after a knee replacement. She really liked it and she got some good help.
Praying,
Ann ( & Cliff)
Crystal,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear the upbeat tone in your message. I pray that Lubbock, or better yet, what transpires in Lubbock, will be just what Rick needs. God Bless and have a great Sunday.
God Bless America, later, Rick
Hi Crystal, I read your blog every morning and call Chyral. So happy to hear you will be in Lubbock soon. I know God is answering all our prayers, and your faith will keep you going. Chyral is leaving this morning for Branson on the Church bus. So happy she is going this year. It is beautiful there at Thanksgiving as they turn on the Christmas lights. Take care, and so happy you are moving and pray this is the next step for Rick. Love you, Juanell
ReplyDeleteHi Crystal, Tammy W shared Rick's and your story with us at Church this morning. All of us are so moved by this story and how Rick is improving. Please know that the UMC of Hop Bottom, PA has all of you in our prayers!
ReplyDeleteGod Bless,
Paula
