DAY 31

Another good day. Rick resisted with his right leg this morning during therapy. He has been resisting with both arms really good, but hadn't shown any resistance with his legs. All of these small steps are moving the mountain...slowly but surely we'll get there. Afternoon therapy went well, too. Kiran is such a good therapist and has a genuine interest in Rick...she wants him to get better just as much as we all do.

Riley made it to Tongue River today, & was very happy to get there. She will be staying a few days with Ty & Lacy & the four little Smith kids that she adores. From what I hear they were pretty happy to see her, too. Cade is in Vernon with Devin and Sandra...he is so wishy-washy...one minute he wants to be here the next minute he doesn't!

Seek the grace of God and you will find it.

Love,
Crystal

  1. That sounds like great news that he is resisting with his leg now. Just little steps that get us to his full recovery!! I can't wait. I'm glad Riley got to go back to Tongue River. I know they are missing her! (and you all too!) We celebrate each step with you and praise God for Rick's recovery!!

  3. Good morning Miss Crystal,

I just wanted to share today’s devotional with you.

I had a vision of thousands of warriors beating drums in a perfect and distinct rhythm. It reminded me of the opening ceremony of the 2008 Olympics and the Chinese drummers. And, I heard the Lord say, "Listen to the rhythm of the warrior. His heart beats like the pounding of the drum with mighty courage and strength. You are My warriors. Get ready for battle, for I am taking you to a new level of intensity and effectiveness in warfare. Prepare your hearts, and let Me lead you to victory."

Jeremiah 51:20 "You are My battle-ax and weapons of war: For with you I will break the nation in pieces; With you I will destroy kingdoms.

Girl, God is so blessing you and Rick! You two both are mighty with strength and courage! Just keep holding his had. Our God is truly taking ya’ll to another level and with him it will be an awesome victory!

We are lifting ya’ll up to him!
