DAY 239

It was a better day, but still not a great day. He was still very tired and just couldn't have cared less about a lot of things. Even the therapists noticed and it will all be discussed with Dr. Wolcott in the morning. He got to take a regular walker for a test drive today. He did pretty good...I just kept thinking "if only he felt good, he'd be running circles around the gym." As it was he went about 5 ft and had to rest, then about 8 ft and had to rest and then 6 ft and he was done. For the walker to be really good he's going to have to build up more strength in his left arm and shoulder.

Rick was asleep by 7:00 and I'm at L&L's sipping hot chocolate and watching the Olympics. I think Rick's tiredness is rubbing off on me!

Little things don't mean alot...they mean everything. Remember Zacharia 4:10...the day of "small" things. All of these small steps are adding up.

Thanks for all your prayers and support. We couldn't do it without you.

Love,
Crystal

  1. Crystal,
A small thing, is a small thing; but faithfulness in the small things is a very great thing.
Keep your eyes on Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. He will never fail you.
    Have a good night.
    Love,

  2. Crystal,
Keep that chin up, Rick is going to overcome this also!! You have to be there to help him with that next incremental step. I know it has to be horribly frustrating but it is going to work. Let's pray and agree, Father we come before you with praise and thanksgiving and Father we thank you for Rick's healing thus far and Father we give you the glory for his healing. Father I ask, in the name of Jesus, that you continue his healing. Father I thank you for a supernatural miracle for Rick, for complete healing from head to toe. Father I thank you for Crystal and Father I ask that you give her strength like she has never experienced. Father send the Holy Spirit to comfort her and give her peace that passes all understanding in Jesus name we pray. and all of God's children said amen and amen God Bless America and all of those in authority, and Remember--Go Vote
    later, Rick
