DAY 227

Another fabulous day...as long as you don't count the weather! Rain, snow, rain and more snow for Lubbock today, plus the lovely rivers that flow through the streets because of the great drainage system here. In Speech this morning Rick voiced 95% of the time...woo woo! In OT he ended up working on "sit to stands" in disguise. Emily fooled him by taking him into the kitchen and asking him to stand up to put some dishes up in the cabinet, and sit back down to take a break...over and over...she's so clever. Rick didn't even think it was idiotic! He had to unscramble words in Problem Solving group and he did decent, but usually needed a hint.

I'm so thankful for Rick's progress...seems like these babysteps are getting bigger. His endurance is coming along and his personality is shining through. After the kids were here this weekend Riley told my mom, "my daddy was saying things that my daddy would say!" I think that is so cute.

God bless you all.

Love,
Crystal
